These terms supplement Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement and provide important information about PikPDF and its optional subscriptions.
By downloading, accessing or using PikPDF, you agree to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (“Standard EULA”) and these supplemental Terms of Use. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls to the extent required by Apple’s platform rules.
If you do not agree, do not use PikPDF.
PikPDF provides document scanning, OCR, PDF creation, organization, editing, signatures, sharing, optional iCloud backup and supported on-device AI features. Feature availability may depend on your device, operating system, language, region, Apple Account and Apple services.
PikPDF may offer a free tier and optional Premium access. Features and reasonable usage limits may evolve as the app improves. We will not knowingly remove access to content or benefits you have already paid for in violation of applicable law or App Store rules.
You retain your rights in documents, images, text, signatures and other content you create, import, store or share. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the authority and necessary rights to scan, edit, sign, store and distribute that content.
PikPDF does not review your locally stored documents. You are responsible for backups and for verifying important output before relying on it.

You must not use PikPDF to violate law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, create deceptive signatures, bypass security controls, distribute malware, or process content you are not authorized to handle. You must not attempt to reverse engineer or interfere with the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Scanning, edge detection, OCR, compression, summaries, suggested names, categories and tags are convenience features and may contain errors or omissions. Electronic signature requirements vary by document and jurisdiction. PikPDF does not provide legal, financial, medical or professional advice. Review important documents and output before relying on them.
Purchases, iCloud, system permissions, sharing destinations and some device features are provided by Apple or services you select. Their availability and handling of information are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
We aim to keep PikPDF reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. System updates, device limitations, Apple service interruptions or circumstances outside our control may affect availability. We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PikPDF is provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights. The liability provisions of Apple’s Standard EULA also apply.
You may stop using PikPDF at any time and may cancel a subscription through Apple. We may restrict use where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, security abuse or a material violation of these terms, subject to applicable law and Apple’s platform rules.
These supplemental terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence. Apple’s Standard EULA contains additional provisions concerning governing law and third-party beneficiary rights.
We may update these terms when the app, subscriptions or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice where required.
